New Meta-analysis Published re Omega-3s and CVD Outcomes

A newly published GOED meta-analysis study presents strong evidence that omega-3 (EPA and DHA) supplementation provides an effective strategy for the prevention of certain cardiovascular outcomes. The paper in Mayo Clinic Proceedings compiled data from a variety of studies and found that higher omega-3 dosages are correlated with statistically significant increases in risk reduction for a variety of cardiovascular outcomes.
